6000 SERIES CAPPS FLOATS (PATENTED)

SHAFT LENGTHS DO NOT INCLUDE EIGHT INCH HANDLE LENGTH You may custom order any float with a pistol grip or any angle of head or length of shaft on the custom order section in the main page if not seen here. Please forgive us for it may take up to thirty days to deliver non stock items. There may be a slight additional charge depending on the complexity of the request. All 6000 Series Capps Floats have long life secure three sided, carbide pinned inserts. The round shafts have the back side milled to aid in correct float placement. They include eight inch long Pro-Lite handles for better grip and easier handling. The triangle heads allow easier oral access, greater comfort for the horse and less soft tissue damage. The new line of blades from Capps Manufacturing is a solid one-sided triangular shaped blade that comes in 8, 10 and 14 insert lengths to fit all current Capps float heads. They feature more height of the blade above the holder. The 14 insert size blade may be purchased in medium or fast cuts. Field trials show these blades to be less aggressive than regular Capps inserts. They work well for finish work and installing bit seats. The new blades may be re-sharpened several times. Titanium coated corrosion resistant replacement blades are available for all Capps Floats.
